Prevention, testing and support

Our support services cover three main areas:

  • Support for people living with HIV
    • Providing information and support after a positive HIV diagnosis
    • Enabling people living with HIV to make informed choices about their lives
    • Reducing ongoing social isolation and emotional hardship
  • Free HIV Testing
    • On site, community, or postal testing
  • Prevention
    • Raising awareness about HIV within the community

We have 2 centres, one in Slough and one in Reading, and both offer the same support services to our clients. These services include:

  • Peer support groups
  • Mentor programme
  • Drop in service with meals
  • Advice and advocacy on a range of issues
  • Counselling
  • Mindfulness
  • Healthy living and nutrition advice
  • Rapid HIV testing
  • HIV awareness training
  • Sexual health advice
  • Condom distribution scheme
  • Chemsex guidance
