Prevention, testing and support
Our support services cover three main areas:
- Support for people living with HIV
- Providing information and support after a positive HIV diagnosis
- Enabling people living with HIV to make informed choices about their lives
- Reducing ongoing social isolation and emotional hardship
- Free HIV Testing
- On site, community, or postal testing
- Prevention
- Raising awareness about HIV within the community
We have 2 centres, one in Slough and one in Reading, and both offer the same support services to our clients. These services include:
- Peer support groups
- Mentor programme
- Drop in service with meals
- Advice and advocacy on a range of issues
- Counselling
- Mindfulness
- Healthy living and nutrition advice
- Rapid HIV testing
- HIV awareness training
- Sexual health advice
- Condom distribution scheme
- Chemsex guidance
