Volunteering with TVPS
Volunteers are absolutely essential here at TVPS.
We were awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for voluntary groups that recognises outstanding work – without our volunteers we just couldn’t provide such a fantastic, effective, service.
Current vacancies
Volunteer cook – time commitment 3 ours per week
We’re looking for someone who loves to cook! Every Thursday lunchtime we operate an ‘open house’ where positive people can meet and socialise. We provide them with a hot meal which they sit and eat together, its a really sociable environment. If you like planning meals to a budget and catering for small groups, usually between 10-15 people, then this role is for you. We cover the cost of all ingredients and keep a well stocked store cupboard, all we need from you is your creativity and time. This role is based in our Slough centre.

Drop-in volunteers
We’re always in need of a helping hand at our drop-ins. We have three drop-in sessions a week, but you can always just pick the day that suits you best.
Directors
We’re looking for people to join our fantastic board of trustees, they meet every 6 weeks and under their guidance TVPS has gone from strength to strength, winning awards, securing new funding and broadening our range of services.
Whether you’re a strategic thinker, a financial guru or you have a passion to help those affected by HIV but limited time to do so then why not get in touch.
