Volunteers are absolutely essential here at TVPS.
We were awarded the Queens Award for Voluntary Service, the MBE for voluntary groups that recognises outstanding work – without our volunteers we just couldn’t provide such a fantastic, effective, service.
Becoming a volunteer mentor will see you being paired up with an HIV positive person, helping them learn a new skill, attend a class
together or just having a cup of tea and a good old chin wag.
We support people right across Berkshire, so you can be paired up with someone in your area. If you can spare the time and would like to make a real difference to someone’s life, what are you waiting for?! Get in touch!
We’re always in need of a helping hand at our drop-ins. We have three drop-in sessions a week, but you can always just pick the day that suits you best.
We’re looking for people to join our fantastic board of trustees, they meet every 6 weeks and under their guidance TVPS has gone from strength to strength, winning awards, securing new funding and broadening our range of services.
Whether you’re a strategic thinker, a financial guru or you have a passion to help those affected by HIV but limited time to do so then why not get in touch.
If you work for an organisation that would like to come and volunteer for the day, doing gardening, helping us at an event or fundraising, we would love to hear from you!
